You’re Not Lost — You’re Exactly Where God Needs You
Summary
There is a particular ache in feeling lost — as if everyone else was given a map and you were handed fog. The job did not work out. The relationship ended. The plan you were so sure about quietly fell apart. Now you are standing somewhere you never meant to be, wondering whether you missed God completely.
You did not. In this teaching I want to challenge the belief hiding underneath the pain: that if a place is unfamiliar, you must be off course. Some of the most important seasons of your life will feel exactly like being lost, because being prepared rarely looks like progress while you are in the middle of it.
Joseph in a prison. Israel in a wilderness. David in the years between the anointing and the throne. None of them were lost. They were being made ready for something their comfort could never have prepared them for.
Feeling turned around is not proof that God has gone. It is often the mark of His hand shaping you where no one can see. The place you cannot explain may be the exact place He is doing His deepest work.
You are not lost. You are being led — even here, and especially here. Let this be the day you stop hating the long way round and start trusting the One who is walking it with you.
What if the very place you feel most lost is the place God is preparing you most?
