Broke Is a Season, Poor Is a Mindset
It is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.
Notice the word — power. Not luck. Not money falling from the sky. God gives you the ability to create something of value, manage it well, and build. In Scripture, wealth is not a prize that lands on you. It grows where a renewed mind meets working hands.
I have watched two people receive the same amount of money. Within a year, one had multiplied it. The other was back where they started. The difference was never the amount. It was the mind.
Broke describes your account today. It is a season, and seasons change. Poor describes a mindset — always afraid there will never be enough, spending without thinking, measuring yourself against others. No amount of money can fix a mindset. That is why we always start there.
You may be broke today. You are not poor. The moment you begin to think like someone managing God's money — planning, giving, saving, building — the season has already started to turn, whether your bank balance knows it yet or not.
God gives the power. Your part is to pick it up and use it.
Prayer: Father, heal my heart about money so I can manage it well for Your Kingdom.
Today’s action: Write down one money belief you grew up with — and ask whether it is true.
Is the way you handle money ruled by fear, comparison, or faith?
