You Are Not Stuck — You Are Being Prepared

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)

They that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength.

Waiting is the hardest season to trust God in, because nothing seems to be happening. The promise has not come. The door has not opened. And a quiet voice suggests that God has forgotten you.

He has not. In the Kingdom, waiting is rarely wasted time. It is preparation. Joseph waited in a prison before he stood in a palace. David was anointed years before he wore a crown. The delay was not God losing track of His promise. It was God building the person who could carry it.

Notice what the verse says. Strength is not taken away in the waiting. It is renewed. Something is being restored in you right now that all your straining could never produce. The eagle does not flap harder in the storm. It spreads its wings and lets the wind lift it. That is what waiting on the Lord looks like — trusting God actively, not giving up quietly.

So do not hate this season. A delay is not a no. You are not stuck. You are being prepared. And the God who made the promise has never once been late.

Keep preparing. Keep trusting. Your time is closer than it feels.

Prayer: Father, in this waiting, renew my strength. I trust Your timing over mine.

Today’s action: Do one small thing today to prepare for what you are still waiting for.

What if this delay is not a no, but preparation?
